In-Kind Donation Policy

 Julington Creek Elementary PTO relies on generous donations from private citizens and businesses to help fuel and continue their work throughout the year. Julington Creek Elementary PTO understands that not all businesses have the capability to partner with JCE PTO as a Community Partner solely with monetary donations.  

 Julington Creek Elementary PTO accepts a 50/50 monetary and in-kind donation to help Community Partners reach a desired level in accordance with the current Julington Creek Elementary PTO Community Partnership program.

“In-kind giving” refers to contributions of goods and services that are of value to a nonprofit organization.  Many donors receive great satisfaction and comfort from passing useful items onto charities or safety in using their funds to purchase goods for an organization. Julington Creek Elementary PTO adheres to all IRS regulations pertaining to the recognition, valuation, and reporting of in-kind donations. 

In-Kind donations include items such as, but not limited to these pre- approved items:

Food and Paper Good Items for School Events

Service Gift Certificates and Vouchers 

 In-Kind donations do NOT include:

Any Logoed Business Items*

Brochures or Flyer

Gift Certificate or Vouchers for Partial Service 

Basket or Raffle Items Donated to Individual Classes*

 *Unless requested by the organization
